Which Core kite for beginners?
The Core Nexus. Our main recommendation. The ultimate all-rounder kite: freeride, waves, freestyle, and foil in one product. 3 struts, wide wind range, accessible from day one up to advanced level. Vs XR: the Nexus is more versatile, the XR is more specialized for hangtime. Vs Pace: the Nexus is more of an all-rounder, the Pace is more oriented towards big air and kiteloops.
Which is the best Core kite for big air?
The Core XR8 is a great place to start. 5 ExoTex struts, vertical boost and benchmark hangtime; almost all Woo records are set with the XR. The Pace / Pace Pro for riders focused on kiteloops: more reactive and more agile. The XR Pro in Aluula is the top of the line: faster, lighter. What is the difference between CoreTex, ExoTex, and Aluula at Core?
CoreTex 2: triple ripstop fabric for the canopy, robust and stable. ExoTex 2: ultra-rigid dacron for the leading edge and struts, reduced diameter for better aerodynamics. Both are exclusive to Core and form the basis of the Standard range. Aluula: ultra-light composite material reserved for Pro versions. More rigid, lighter, more reactive.
