Where does Harlem come from?
Dutch brand founded in 2016 by Hans Lieben and Alexander Morgenstern. What started as a repair workshop has become a full-fledged brand, with a clear goal: to build more durable, lighter, and higher-performance kites. The kites are produced at Brainchild Production in North Macedonia using ProWeld technology. Aaron Hadlow, 5-time freestyle world champion, co-develops the entire range.
Which Harlem kite should you choose?
The Hadlow Pro for technical unhooked freestyle, a 5-line C-kite with precise slack and explosive pop, designed with Aaron Hadlow. The Peak for pure big air, massive lift, hangtime, and stability, the choice of Lorenzo Casati, big air world champion. The Thrive for high-performance all-round riding, 3 struts, versatile from freeride to big air, the lightest and most accessible in the range.
What is ProWeld technology?
ProWeld is Brainchild Production's exclusive manufacturing process. Instead of sewing the leading edge panels (which creates holes, thus requiring reinforcements, adding weight), ProWeld welds them. Result: -20% weight and +30% torsional rigidity compared to traditional sewn kites. No need for expensive materials to achieve lightness, it's the construction method that makes the difference.
Does Harlem offer wings?
Yes. The Harlem Pace is an all-round wing available at GlissEvolution. Same philosophy as the kites: lightweight construction, European materials, and Brainchild technology.
Which Harlem bars and boards are available?
Bars: the Lead Bar V2 is the main 4-line bar, available at GlissEvolution. For freestyle, the Hadlow Pro Bar is a 5-line bar dedicated to the Hadlow Pro. Boards: Launch (all-round freeride), Ascent (big air, developed with Aaron Hadlow), and Descent (technical freestyle).
How does the HARLEM warranty work?
