The Ecoboard label certifies that the board is made with reduced-impact materials. At NOMADS, the boards use partially recycled polystyrene foam, an epoxy resin composed of 40% plant waste, and natural flax and basalt fibres. The boards are manufactured in Portugal, in Europe, not Asia – which also reduces the carbon footprint of transport.

Yes, that's at the heart of the brand. The fins are made in France from recycled fishing nets, compatible with Futures and FCS. The pads are made of natural cork, manufactured in France. The leashes are made from recycled materials. The luggage (covers, bags) is made from upcycled event tarpaulins by a social enterprise workshop in Bordeaux.
